The fabric is a nice heavier and stretchy fabric. The square neck is more then square, it like goes wider as it drops and if you wear fuller coverage bras it will reveal your bra. The length follows this awful trend of SHORT and boxy. I am 5'5 and even for me its annoyingly short, though i've bought... worse from Old Navy. I don't know if they are trying to save fabric or what, but this trend needs to die. Another thing, one of the seams on the neckline came undone on the first wear (i don't think i even washed it). Anyway I will keep wearing this one as last resort type of shirt but honestly blaaaah. I was about to order a bunch of Gap's favorite v-neck tshirts when low and behold all recent reviews say the fit and cut has changed to short and boxy. Don't know if you got the memo, but most of us over here don't have a six pack, get it together oldnavy/gap!!!
