I am a grown woman in my 40s, who likes adding a casual touch to outfits with sneakers. The reason I love these sneakers are the elastic no-tie shoelaces. While I have no problem tying my shoes, I find that handing "bunny ears" look messy and tend to ruin the overall look I am going for. That is whe...re these sneakers come in. I had bought last-year's white version (with a tan sole), and since I wear them all the time, I now bought two more pairs: the the white with white sole and the brown with white sole. Size 4Y fits like size 6 or 6.5 lengthwise, and my only complaint is that the sneakers are cut too wide (hence I subtracted a star). For all the reviewers complaining about comfort or quality, I don't know what they are talking about. I am not playing soccer in these sneakers, but as far as walking around and/or being on my feet all day, they are perfectly comfortable and have not shown any quality issues so far.
Worn by an 8yr old boy for less than 2 weeks before they completely fell apart. Stitching came off so the sole is no longer attached to front of shoe. The tops of both shoes have peeled off. Awful. They had less than 14 days of normal use. I will never buy shoes from Old Navy again. Extra disappoi...nting because I purchased the next size up too and they are waiting in his closet. What a waste.

Liked the shoes, great for my son who is into skateboarding. They do run bit big. My son normally wears a 12.5-1 and these were 13 and he had quite a bit of space in them. He will grow into them though!
