I started my pregnancy at 150 5'6.5". I have a larger bottom than top of body (pear shape). I usually purchase the true skinny jeans from Gap, but saw the maternity version of those jeans had terrible reviews. On a search I found these with great reviews and decided to check them out. I like these a...s a skinny jeans solution for maternity wear over the WOW skinny jeans offered by Old Navy because these ones have more spandex in the denim blend, making them stretchier. This is great because I was a 10 pre pregnancy and throughout weight gain (21 pounds in 21 weeks) I can see that I am now a 12. However, I didn't know that when I purchased these in a 10 and they still fit! Sure, I'll have to purchase a size 12 here soon, but what I'm really excited about is that as I size back down postpartum, I have jeans that are comfy, cute, and stretchy and made to accommodate my changing body. I highly recommend these if you're an avid Gap shopper and miss comfy jeans. One important note! - I have a muscular build.

I bought with a few other styles/types having no clue what to expect from maternity jeans. These are my least favorite out several different types. The panel is thicker than the wow jeans. The panel is loose on my belly while the legs are super tight. I bought these and the wow jeans in size 8 and ...I out grew them not in the belly but my thighs quickly. I can still wear my wow jeans starting wearing them both at 15wks now 26 wks I couldn't wear these after 18 wks. The wow jeans are definitely snug on legs and not as comfortable now.
