All of my toes were on the sandal and none hung over. These last many years. I have a pair that lasted 5 beach seasons because they're very durable. The lighter colors become slightly discolored over time (2+ years) so I recommend black and navy if you don't like to wipe down shoes. These have texture on the bottoms so I never worry about slipping. They rinse off easily without damaging the design. They're great to wear around the house as summer slippers, too! A must have!
