I was hesitant to buy these but I'm so glad I did! These are made with a nice slightly thicker fabric. I was worried they would be thin and see-through. I also love the length, I bought the 12-18 month size and they go right to my 12 month olds knees ( not booty shorts) I like the protection it give...s her. Because they are a good quality fabric she can wear these under dresses or as shorts themselves. The quality is way better than most biker shorts for toddlers I've seen.
I 100% would not recommend the black shorts. My daughter wore them and they dyed everything blue. She looked like she colored on herself with a Crayola blue marker. When I rinsed them out in the sink, I was shocked at the amount of blue that just kept coming. A bath did not remove the blue from her ...leg. I have scrubbed my hand and arm and am still blue. I'm also having a reaction to the dye and am getting a rash. My daughter's favorite unicorn dress is now also dyed blue. I'm appalled at the quality and have never seen anything like this with Old Navy. This is incredible disappointing that her dress is ruined and she doesn't have shorts to wear now either.

My daughter is petite. 3T fit her perfectly.. she's usually a 2T but occasionally fits in 3T when they run small. This is probably meant to stretch more, so she'll get a lot of use out of it.
