This dress is very flattering on, but it is see through in the skirt, which is incredibly disappointing. It needs a slip or liner underneath.

Linen fabric is perfect.
I'm 5'2, 150lbs, and pear shaped. Though I'm certain I can fit the small, I got a medium tall to give me a little more length since I have more hips. It's a cute date night dress that you could transition from day to night especially because of the color. I wore the burgundy/plum version with platform heels to dress it up, and I plan to wear the navy version with slip on sandals.

I liked the navy on me more than the red. The ruching on the back is less noticeable on the navy, and I personally think the navy suits my skin tone more. It does shrink a bit after washing and drying on low heat, so it's an inch or two shorter now. I think it fits even better on me now, but if you like the length how it is, hang dry it after washing. I got a small and I'm 5'5" and 125lbs.
