I bought this sweater in three colors because I love 100% cotton clothing items, and I work in an air conditioned office, so the idea of an "all year fabric" appealed to me. I bought the "oatmeal", the dark green, and the dark brown. The oatmeal is so beautiful and reminds me of seashells, but it's ...definitely oversized and looks a little sloppy on me. I'm between a medium and a large in knits, and the large was very long (covers my butt!) and definitely on the wide side. I'm also short, so the sleeves were a bit too long. I don't mind an oversized sweater in my personal time, so I'll wear that one more casually. It did not shrink in the wash the first time, but it did seem to stretch a tiny bit throughout the day. I just got the dark green and brown in today. The dark green in large fits closer to what I would consider a "classic" fit large, and I think it's a much better fit for work (not too oversize and the sleeves seem to fit better). The dark brown in large is oversized like the oatmeal with very long sleeves, and I will probably return that one for a medium or maybe even a petite medium. On a tall person with longer arms, maybe the oatmeal and dark brown would drape better. All the colors are beautiful. The fabric is not as nice as the American flag seaside cotton sweaters - it reminds me a bit of craft store yarn, but I think the weave itself is really pretty, and the sweaters aren't scratchy, but they're not silky either.
I'm leaning toward returning the 2 of these I bought. I feel Old Navy sweaters are hit and miss in quality. These lured me in with 100% cotton, and I did buy 2 last year here that were good cotton sweaters. As another review states, these are like yarn store feeling and the loose weave seems extreme...ly catchy. I am careful with clothes and don't do the dryer with sweaters, but someone saying they fuzzed up on delicate makes me want my money back. The fit is fine (medium is good and I straddle the m/l line).

Has the cozy fall fit, a little oversized but still comfortable. Is more light weight for the end of summer early fall weather. I absolutely love this. Bought in two colors. Cute with jeans or a skirt.

I purchased four colors and love them all! Soft cotton material is great for office wear. The dark brown is a true neutral. Got them on sale so the price was spot on.

Its a really nice light knit sweater. Not chunky knit, but not super small. It is so comfortable to wear and I will be ordering many more.

I got it in the green and it's pretty, soft, and lightweight. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to how big it was in the photos but it's as advertised-- oversized and long. If you want it to fit smaller go down a size.

a nice sweater, I got the Spice color and it runs wide and seems tunic length out of the bag. this year's tunic length is a non-cropped regular length in my opinion. once washed it shrunk in length to a manageable normal non cropped length-fine with me! I weigh 160, 5'4" and I got the large, which is roomy, could have probably gotten the medium but don't want anything too snug on my too large belly. fabric is very lightweight, probably not warm enough for the dead of winter in New England.

bought this sweater and while the fabric/ feel is fantastic, even the petite length is quite long. would be perfect in a more cropped silhouette.

The cotton is pretty thin snd these run very large. I wanted a roomy size but the large seemed more XXL. Love the colors but I might return for medium.

This is one comfortable sweater. I love the quality of it and the color in orange is perfect. Lightweight and comfortable. However, it says it is a relaxed fit which is not. It is truly oversized. I got a large and ended up feeling like I was wearing a dress. I switched and got a medium instead and was much better. Just keep that in mind when buying is the size. Definitely plan on buying another one when they go on sale.
