I'm 5'3", 150lbs and found both petite and regular sized medium to be too short. The dress fell way above the knee, not at all like the picture. Sadly I returned both sizes. It's a great "in between" dress for summer. Perfect for if you don't just want to wear workout clothes, but some of your other sundresses or summer dresses are just too dressy for every day running around where. This is great. Even add a little fancier, jewelry and it would be fun for date night too. I bought the burnt orange and the gray. Those could even be worn into early fall.
Absolutely love this dress! I am one that has a very hard time liking how I look in a dress and I was shocked how pretty I felt in this one. AND it's super comfortable. It has a tad of a looser fit, which I believe makes it look it's best, but you may need to size down depending on your preference. I could size down but kept my original size and it's not bad at all.
