Even though I'm 5'2", I ordered a tall size because wanted coverage as I intend the jacket to be my autumn outerwear. The jacket extending to cover my bottom is perfect. I have to roll back the cuffs; however, that's to be expected given I purchased a tall. I like the trim line, the high collar, the... slightly faded black hue, and the soft good weight denim. Magnetic closures on the pockets would be ideal, so I'll add those that myself. Although I love the jacket, I'm content to store it until fall while I enjoy summer weather.
I love a funnel collar top or jacket. For me, a funnel neck means the neck is the same height all the way around, like a tube. This jacket was based on a standard point-collar like a chore jacket, but they extended the zipper up, so it truly has a pointy funnel type shape, but does not match a refin...ed "funnel neck". If this sounds good to you, you will like the jacket. I am returning it. Size was true, although I would say it was not particularly long in the tall sizing - still meant to be cropped.
