I wanted to love this dress. The color is absolutely beautiful, and the overall style is so flattering. It has so much potential. There are a few design choices that really take away from it. For example the center front seam. It completely cheapens the look of what could have been a very elegant lace dress. With fabric like this, there's just no reason for a seam running straight down the front. It takes away from the entire design. The neckline is also off. The front sits too high, while the back dips too low, which makes the overall fit unbalanced. If I could find this same lace fabric, I would make this dress myself and leave the center front seam out entirely. It would make a huge difference.

The color is lovely, but the fabric isn't dense enough to give appropriate coverage. As another reviewer mentioned, I also found the front seam to be a poor design choice. Maybe this would work in the darker color, but I wasn't impressed enough with the material to try.

I didn't notice the center seam on the front of this dress that runs from the neckline down to the hem on the when I purchased it online, but now I have reviewed the photos online it's there just hard to see. What a shame! I was so confused and unhappy with why it was place there when I tried the dress on once it was delivered. This really poor design choice on a dress in shear lace creates a very unattractive neckline and looks like you accidentally put it on backwards. It really ruined what would have been a cute dress. I studied fashion design and can't quite understand why this seam was added, it definitely is unneeded as there are two side seams and a center seam at the back as well. The seam on the front completely ruins the dress, and though this dress was a very economically priced, it totally cheapened it with the sloppy construction. It would have been such a good dress for spring/summer but I absolutely cannot wear it with that seam, so it's getting sent back.

I buy all my dresses from Old Navy. This one felt like it was on backwards very odd! Also was very tight on chest area.
