These shorts are really cute. They don't hug the leg and are a more trendy style than what I've seen elsewhere for maternity shorts. That being said, pre-pregnancy I was a size 8, but I decided to order these in a size 10. The 10 fit as far as I could pull them up, but the denim is not stretchy so it just felt tight especially around the bottom of the elastic belly band. I am going to exchange these for a 12 though because I really did like the look of them.

I ordered a size 8 according to the size chart, which is also the size of another pair of maternity jeans from Old Navy that I have that are slightly baggy everywhere, so I thought that would be good. These barely got over my hips! They are good denim material which is great because it's hard to find now in maternity sections, but definitely size up. I'm going to try two sizes up. Besides being way too small, they seem like good shorts.
