I am petite with a short torso, wide athletic shoulders and hips, and unfortunately curvaceous on top of all that. I can see why other reviewers say the fit is off— it's for women shaped like me! DD+ and the straps aren't too long and the top actually FITS. And is flattering! For reference I'm 5'2 3...4DD/F and 46 inch hips. My only complaint is that while incredibly flattering empire A-line cut, the size M was still barely enough to fit my hips despite fitting the top perfectly. Size L too big on top and I didn't order petite because of my full bust. For that reason this dress is best for those predominantly top-heavy. Also I LOVE YELLOW. YELLOW is underrated!
I bought the yellow and it is so pretty, but the fit was a bit too big in the top, and then pulled and was too small through the hips. I returned and re- ordered in the next size up, hoping that the top won't then be so big that it doesn't work in the larger size either. The fit for ON across the ...board for me has been so all over the place lately, it makes shopping online with them really unpleasant, but the store 40 minutes away does not have a large selection. :(

Got it in XS. Loved the style and light-weight cotton. But didn't fall right on my petite frame. Quick fix by folding the straps in front to adjust to better length and fit. Added some hand stitches. Perfect! Cool and casual or dress it up with a jewelry and a short length/short sleeve button shirt.

This dress is so beautiful. The fit flatters if it falls in the right place. I am a petite XS in most dresses, which was not available. The stunning lace detail made for an a quick/easy adjustment. I doubled folded them in the front in about a 1" square and hand stitched it around the entire square. Because of the details, the tiny stitches were not visible. i got the blue and it fell perfectly on my just under 5ft frame. And it was on sale. It is lightweight cotton. Perfect for summer. I may wear a slips
