Ok...these shirts are HUGE. I understand that they should be oversized, being called "boyfriend" style, but it's ridiculous. I tried these shirts on in store...because last year when I tried these (I ordered a bunch of different sizes online) and I couldn't find any that worked for me. There are ...different fabrics used - some are oxford type fabric (thicker textured less transparent) and some are poplin type fabric (thinner smooth more transparent). The oxford cloth version of these shirts are sized really large...they are shorter in length than the poplin fabric shirts that I tried on in store. Very wide and boxy. So I didn't like the oxford ones at all, especially with the big chest pocket. Just horrible. The eyelet shirt in poplin ("white lilies") was decent but my size wasn't available in store...so I ended up purchasing online in a size small. I probably should have gotten an extra small, but I don't want to deal with returning since Old Navy seems to be cracking down on returns (TheRetailEquation) - even when you return with your receipt well within the return window. The poplin eyelet shirt was longer in length than the same size in the oxford cloth shirt, and not nearly as wide, so it fit me better. The sleeves are a touch short, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me because I roll them up anyhow. The best thing tho...NO CHEST POCKET! So that's awesome. The poplin fabric is very thin, so I do wear a close fitting tank underneath. It tucks in easily and I haven't had a problem with it becoming overly wrinkled. This shirt also looks nice untucked over slim joggers. I've been washing as I wash most of my clothes with a cold water wash (no fabric softener). I throw it in the dryer on LOW for a few minutes to warm up the fabric, take it out, give it a shake and smooth out any wrinkles with my hand and line dry on a hanger. No problems with pilling, fading or shrinking.
