Great quality! Size down for better fit!
I was so excited to see these for my 5th grader. They have a great baggy fit on the legs but the waistband is not in true baggy style. The waist is still a tight fit. We had to size up 1 size and may even try 2 sizes up, making the length to long and needing hemmed. Some may like that but we expecte...d a looser fit around the waist as well, similar to other jeans and jorts that he has.

I would size down a bit if your kid is 5 and get a size 5 instead of 6-7, but all we did was get them fitted and now they fit perfectly!
