I am between a medium and large at Old Navy and don't like things tight. I am 5'3", 135/140ish. I ordered a large tall because I did not want it too short and panicked a bit when it was first delivered because it kind of looked like the tall made it a lower drop waist rather than longer. I tried it ...on, however, and it turns out it is perfect. The drop waist hits at a really perfect pooch hiding spot. The length is good. The top is loose enough to be comfortable (I think I'm like a D or DD cup?) without gaping arm holes. I like that I can wear this in many ways, like putting a polo or button down under it, or putting a blouse or sweater on top of it. Now I'm considering the other colors! Oh, and I think this could be flattering for many different ages. I'm in my 40s but I think older or younger would work too!
As you will see if you look closely, this dress was sewn incorrectly. The back is way too short and your butt looks incredibly large while the front is too long and the neck comes up too high in the front almost choking you. Terrible design! It is cute but once you try it on, you will regret. I ...actually tried to turn it around and wear it backwards but the neck was too high. It's as though the seamstress decided to sew the bottom half incorrectly.

I really like it. Even though the top is ribbed material, it's lightweight. Absolutely what I need for this summer heat, so did not disappoint. I should have gone for a tall medium but I want for a regular large, but the length was important to me and I think going up for one size compensated really well, even if the dress is a little loose.
