You know something's good when your kid asks you to purchase more. Especially if that kid is a fashion forward impressionable boy. These are a winner! We love the adjustable waist. My son is slim but also a bit tall for his age. It's hard to find pants that are long enough, but also stay on his wais...t. The material is soft, but durable. He wiped out at recess and I was surprised to find that despite his scraped knee the jeans did not tear! We have these in every color and plan to purchase the next size up…just in case he hits a growth spurt!
I purchased several pairs of kids' jeans from Old Navy before the school year, expecting them to last at least through the year. By Christmas, multiple pairs were already showing thinning fabric, and by January, several had split at the seams in the seat and crotch. I understand kids can be hard on... clothes, but this level of wear in just a few months is disappointing. I bought similar jeans from Cat & Jack and The Children's Place at the same time, and those have held up with no issues. I've had similar durability problems with Old Navy adult jeans in the past, so this was especially frustrating. I didn't expect them to last forever, but I did expect them to make it through a school year. I won't be purchasing these again.

These are nice jeans just like the pair I have had for years. The flex makes these so comfortable. Now the funny thing is we grabbed these in the girls section in a 12 for my daughter for her school jeans and they fit her great she likes a loose fit. She is 12 and skinny about 4'9" they are just right and leave room for her to grow.
