I fell in love with this in store - and tried it on, and thought I had the right size - so I went ahead and ordered L - my assessment was that the M became too short. Well - I think I actually had landed on M and the S became too short, so despite my best efforts the whole multi-size try on began. ... I ultimately landed on S Tall - I *do* have a long torso, so that part tracks, but my size is L (38DD), so I suggest sizing down quite a bit. That said - the look IS meant to be oversized, so you might like the super oversized look. To me, the S Tall looks just the right amount of roomy/oversized without making me look unnecessarily giant, and the tall makes it land at my waist instead of my empire waist. I'm in love with it and may order a second color (but I also have way too many jackets, so maybe I don't)
I had high hopes for this jacket. I wanted a cropped green utility jacket for spring to replace an old style I had. First of all, this runs big so if you do get it, size down. I got an XS which fit fine I guess. My main issue is the sleeves. They balloon out at the elbows strangely as if they a...re barrel arms. Barrel pants are one thing, but I don't think they work for arms. They just made me look like something is wrong with my arms. And the material is not what I expected. I thought it would be a thicker material but it's more like a swishy windbreaker that makes noise when you move your arms. The model looks cute in the jacket but I can't stand like that at all times to make my arms look ok. I have to move around. This was a no for me and is going back. I guess I'll keep hunting for the right jacket.
