I'm 5'2", 125lbs, athletic build with a butt ~26 waist ~37" hips . A size 4 fits perfect. (For reference, I typically wear an XS in the Mid-Rise StretchTech Run Shorts.) The photos are of the mid-wash. Pros: These do a great job to visually lengthen the legs and define the waist. I like the a-line shape it gives. I'm keeping the lightest wash. Cons: At 2.5" inseam and wide leg opening, bending over and squatting may show your underwear. Not a fan of the mid-wash fading spots on the rear pockets.

These are super cute but run tiny! I bought the same size that I normally get in old navy jeans & couldn't even button these.

They fit really oddly. If anybody remembers culottes they are kind of like that. Tiny at the waist and then they flare out a lot at the bottom. I bought a size 0. I have a 24.5" waist and 36" hips and they fit but I definitely couldn't have gone smaller because of the waist. The rest of the shorts were quite large. The leg openings are huge. In comparison, I bought another pair of old navy shorts in the same size and they were so big I thought I should have gone down a size or two. So if you are trying to decide on a size then size up. I'm going to return them because I don't like the fit.

These shorts run extremely small. I bought my regular size that I wear and all my Old Navy jeans and the other style jean shorts. I cannot even button these shorts..
