Could be perfect if the lace went around the back also - but because they don't, it just looks incomplete and kinda cheap. I do find them comfortable and they have room to move in the waistband. I'm between a L/XL and went with L and I can move them from high rise to mid to low. I wanted these to we...ar for my shorter dresses which are the perfect length in that regard but I would prefer the all around lace so I may end up returning if I can find a pair like that instead.
They are TTS (I typically wear a small in shorts and the small was perfect) - I wore the yellow pair once (and they were so cute!) but unfortunately after a gentle cycle wash and a low tumble try the lace was ripped in two places and fuzzy all over 😭 I would rebuy and try to not dry them but unfort...unately I know myself and with kids and chaos I'll accidentally throw them in eventually and it's not worth it.

Love these shorts! I bought them to war under short dresses but I'll probably still wear them out on their own too. They are a good length. I do wish the lace went around the back and not just the front as others mentioned. I'm 5'11, 150 lbs wearing a small so I'd suggest sizing down if between sizes
