I purchased this top and the matching skirt. It does run small. I normally wear medium but after reading the reviews, I decided to buy an XL. It worked out well because I didn't want it tight around my belly. I have a small belly and I don't like the way it looks in tight clothes. So the XL drapes n...icely over my belly even with the sides scrunched up. I could have gotten a large but the XL feels good for me. What I don't like is the neck part. Because it's wider than normal but I like the set so I'll keep it. I got the skirt too and I sized up with that too. I wear mediums as well in bottoms at Old Navy but got a Large petite. I'm glad I did because the waistband on the medium would have been tight. I like the set. It can be worn to basically any function. For reference, I bought an XL top and L petite skirt. I'm 5'2, 140 lbs and 34DDD.
I thought this could be an active top (for swimming, running), but the material is very thick, heavy, and stiff. I can't imagine wearing this when it's even the slightest bit hot out. It seems like it would suffocate you. It's too bad because the plum color is beautiful and the adjustable ties are s...o versatile for those of us who are picky about our shirt lengths! I would have kept the S Tall for a bit longer length because, again, it can be adjusted. The S Regular felt a bit too short to me. XS could have worked but was tighter than I wanted. I'm 5'5" 110 lbs, 25" waist, 36" hip, 30" bust.

I absolutely love this top and matching skirt. The material feels nice and it is very flattering. I normally wear a large in tops (size 12) and got my normal size. Since it is fitted I would suggest sizing up if you have a larger bust. For reference I wear a D cup and although the top fits, it does feel a bit snug.

Bought the matching skirt. I love it! The set is very flattering, cute cap sleeve. I like the added detail of the strings on the sides to bunch up as much or little as you'd like. The fabric is light weight and buttery soft with a bit of stretch.
