The perfect athletic dress! Loving the color

The cut and style of this dress is so cute but the material is the heaviest, thickest cotton. I would have much preferred a more athletic feeling cotton blend that would be more breathable. I loved the look of the dress but not the material. Another downside is the shorts are fully attached to the dress (versus detached in the back) so when you need to use the restroom, you are taking off the entire dress. More brands have started using the partially detached shorts for this reason. Would not recommend unless you plan to wear for short periods of time and not in the heat.
