The Harrington jacket is an ideal casual jacket that works fine with just a T-shirt, or even a collared shirt, for a more formal look. Its comfortable while unzipped, but also looks great when zipped up about 3/4, to show a bit of shirt. Sometimes, I even wear a tie with it. Its casual, yet classy.
