I have been wearing this "style" dress from old navy for years (picture of last years below), each year they are a bit different but not in a bad way, until this year. This style is absolutely the worse dress I have bought in years. I had to modify the straps because they would not stay flat, rather... kept turning sideways. I bought keyring type rings and took the rectangle piece out to fix that but the sizing is awful as well. Every year, i am always a large so I got large, the part under your bust that is suppose to hug you around your upper stomach is so loose I can not ever wear one of them, the other I wear around the house as a cover up. The chest part is wonky too, you can see pictures below, there is like NO elastic in them at all. The orange dress in the pictures is this year, the darked flower one is last years. They have been washed same as the old ones. Unfortunately I bought 3 of them and can not return them now because it has been past the point of return. I did not wear them sooner since the weather was not appropriate. I am so disappointed it Old Navy right now. I wish there was something I could do but I it seems it has been a total waste this year. I will not be returning for my spring/summer dresses next year, that is for sure.
