Don't dry it. Just don't. Even though the tag says it's ok...don't do it unless you'd like a MUCH smaller top. I bought two of these, washed one before wearing because it had a lipstick on it (ugh), and when it came out of the dryer it was shriveled up and a whole size smaller than the one I didn't ...wash! I had to iron it twice, and it is acceptable, but not the fit I had when I tried it on at the store. I would take it back if I could, and exchange it...and then never dry it again! lol. Also, you'll be ironing this either way. ;) It's a darling top, and very flattering otherwise.
I'm 5'5", 38D, long torso, so I bought several Tall sizes. I love an open back top, so I was really, really hoping to love this! The Large Tall fit, but was a bit snug AND a bit short. The XL Tall was too loose, but the length was right. The smocking is just difficult to get right sometimes. If... they ever come out with a non-smocked option, I'll try again!
