I got the black, and I wear it on the shoulder instead of off. It's a very nice dress that you can style casually or more put together. The material is the thinner side, which will make it light and breezy for summer. Definitely size down - I didn't and I really should exchange for one size small...
The waist was too high and the top half seemed short, so it didn't work out. Material was thin but nice and liked the skirt part with pockets, I may cut off the top and keep it as a long black skirt for the summer. I ordered Medium Tall
