The good: light weight cotton, not see through, flattering cut, love that it comes in tall sizes, great length, and for me the fact that it isn't sleeveless is a huge plus. The not so good: sizing isn't consistent. I purchased this dress in both colors, regular and tall sizes. The black dress was ...larger than the blue, and felt like two different sizes. Both blue dresses that I ordered were too small, one smaller than the other actually…but both black were a good fit. Another con is the buttons gape right around the waist on all of the dresses. One last con, no pockets. This dress needs pockets. All dresses need pockets.
I'm giving the score because a. the dress came as someone's return, there was no product bag it was folded in half with no packing slip either. And b. the anthro ones have pockets so I know it's possible and this version has none. Add pockets and I'll consider buying it in another color. I bought th...is dress having purchased several of the original this is based off of (The Tobie Shirt Dress by Exquise from Anthropologie) and was curious to compare the two. I love the how lightweight the fabric is, perfect for the summer. I'm curious how it'll wash though, there is structure to the dress that a harsh machine could cause damage on, Anthro's are a little heavier fabric. The fit is mostly fine, as this one came from a previous return it's VERY wrinkled and had to adjust when I tried it on. I'm very busty and with a wash I think it'll be better.

I sized up because it's extremely fitted through the bust area, and the first size I ordered was tight in bust, the buttons were pulling. I loved it so much I ordered it in black also. It looks more expensive. Love it

I bought my usual size and it was a great fit, except for the chest. I am a 38c and the button below kept gaping open. I was going to go up a size and they were sold out. I wanted to wear to a baby boy shower. Sadly, I will need to find a Plan B.

This dress is beautiful and 100% cotton. Pleating around the waist is well done and very flattering. Unfortunately I need a different size and it's always sold out. Please restock and add more colors!!!
