I typically wear a large petite in ON items and this fit me perfectly in the standard size small. I am 5'2" and athletic build (wider shoulders and narrow hips) so you can definitely size down in this. Lovely flow to the fabric and no pockets which is probably best as anything in the pockets would p...ull down on the very lightweight fabric. The straps are adjustable and I find them to be placed a bit too narrow on my wider top so I will be restitching them by hand so that they meet in the center front and go up like a V which is a more flattering look on my body type. Overall, I Love this!
I am about 5'9 and these pilled onto the floor! at least 3 inches too long. And HUGE overall. I dont know why anyone would enjoy wearing a circus tent? In comparison the similiar style dresses are really lovely, roomy and comfortable (with one exception) I dont like the band that goes across the ...top, its not comfortable when you sit down. I cant reccommend these in an XL, felt not only 3 sizes too big, but not what it should have been, a cute jumpsuit.

Love this! I'm 5 ft tall and 6 lbs, I am keeping the XS and it is full length / maxi style on me. Very loose and flowy. If a smaller size existed I would maybe get it, but this size is going to work perfectly for an easy breezy light summer 'fit to throw on without thinking about additional pieces.
