Dearest Old Navy, I'm writing this lavish review to ask you to please keep this tall dress in stock for the foreseeable future. It's my favorite item yall have ever produced! I could write an essay on how fabulous this dress is but let me stick to key points: affordable, breathable, length options ...but love the tall for me at 5'9, wears well, keeps shape, not see through, flows in the wind, no fuss, comfortable, pet friendly (my goldendoodle leaves "glitter" but it lint rolls or washes off), kid friendly (playdates with nieces and nephews who have sticky hands), did I mention how comfy? Currently own 23 of them! I get stopped every time while wearing one and can't tell you how many I have sold by word of mouth alone. Absolutely would love more colors to flatter a warm toned redhead. Such as navy or red (which yall released in shorter version), emerald (deeper green than the current kelly), burgundy, true or mustard yellow, burnt orange/pumpkin color, or floral patterns bc I would buy them all and model them for yall too. Ha!
For a t-shirt dress I was expecting more of a soft t-shirt feel. I did not like the roughish texture of the material. It is also quite thin and not flattering without some sort of shape wear underneath and that kinda takes the easy & comfort out of the dress, for me anyway. It is quite long, I am... about 5'8" and it is low ankle length on me but the split made that part look nice. I got this in green and the color is fabulous and since the material is something that is not cotton, I doubt it would bleed in the wash. I have not bought a bodysuit shape wear piece yet, I cannot substantiate the absence of a color bleeding incident.

I jumped on the late train and most of the petites are gone but I managed to get the green and blue. I love this dress! It's airy and roomy but doesn't make me look like a potato sack either. I like that the neck line is very modest and the material is light. The double slit is a plus to air out on hot days. This dress can easily be dressed up or dressed down. I've been meaning to get a solid basic maxi and I'm glad I found this one! It's long enough on me that it goes down to my ankles (I'm 5'5) but the slit elevates it. You can keep it super basic or dress it up. My only wish is for there to be pockets.
