I am in my late 60s so my body is not as shapely or firm as it used to be plus it has developed a little extra in the mid-section so I no longer look good in form fitting or clingy clothes. This dress is a God send for me as I actually look okay in it. I bought all 3 colours & find the denim one i...s going to be better suited to Spring / Autumn while the black & striped ones are lighter and will be good for Summer. Happy with my purchase.
There are weird lines that form from the chest pocket to the side pockets that make the material pucker out. This creates an unflattering shape to the dress. Might be okay with a belt, but it's not for me.

I think this will be a staple in my wardrobe this summer and on my trip to Europe in the fall. The crisp cotton fabric holds its shape and is a classic shirt style. It's is forgiving around the waist without being too loose and sits above the knee on my 5'6' frame. Fits true to size. Will look good with any type of shoe: sneaker, flip flop, ballet flat, or heel.
