I'm 5'3" 120ish lbs and purchased both the XS and small. The XS fit nicely and the small was too big. I'm usually a small / size 4 in Old Navy bottoms, but purchased the XS based on other reviews. These shorts are a longer length (I chose 6" inseam) with full leg openings, but it reminds me of a classic 80s pair of shorts.

These shorts are nice fabric. I should've gotten a small rather than a medium but I wore them yesterday and they are comfortable. The wide leg is a good for the hot weather.

Shorts are nicely constructed and fabric is good quality. However, they run large, so if you are a 16-18, do not order XL. I am a 16, but I should have ordered L.
