I've spent years searching for work-appropriate pants that actually fit. I'm a petite, rectangle-shaped body type, and nearly everything I've tried—from Talbots to Chico's—has been too roomy in the seat and thighs. I need belt loops (no hips or rear to keep pants in place!), and I prefer horizontal ...front pockets like jeans rather than vertical side pockets, which never give a clean line. I also avoid pants with too much stretch because they're baggy within an hour. And then I finally found the perfect pair, and these are it. Shockingly, they've been available this whole time—I just overlooked them out of pure snobbery because they're from Old Navy. Isn't this where all the college kids shop? Even though I'm petite, I ordered the regular length so they'd cover my ankles during Midwest winters. They also come in bootcut and wide-leg styles, if you're interested. Please, Old Navy, never stop selling these pants, or change them.
I have been wearing pixie pants for years, love them. I currently have a handful of pairs in sizes 6 and 8. The size 6s were getting worn out and I decided to get replacements, but in a size 8. The new size 8s arrived, but are tighter than the size 6s I already own. I lined them up next to each ot...her and the old 6s are wider than the new 8s. I tried on the 8s I already own and they were significantly more comfortable than the new ones. This isn't even a case of "wear them and they'll stretch out," they're actually just not correctly sized. I love these pants and they last a long time but the inconsistency with the sizing is frustrating.

I had to order a size up in these, but now they fit great. I'm usually a Sz 6 or med at ON. I ended up getting an 8. The length is great. I'm 5'10" & they are cropped, but not ridiculous looking. The light yellow will be fun this spring & summer. They seem Like great quality.
