I bought the tall, the very fact that everyone is buying the tall should tell Old Navy to offer this in a non cropped version. Besides that, it is hard to find a short sleeve terry sweatshirt, and this is near perfect! Of course I am only 5', I can't imagine what the petite length would be. The "red..." is very nice, I was nervous it would be a neon color, but is more like a washed pink color, very pretty. I also bought the blue, very cute but I prefer no text or logos in general, like the "red."
As someone with a shorter torso, when I see reviews saying something runs "too cropped" it usually means it's perfect for me... but not this time. Even the size 4x, which I intentionally ordered to be oversized and wear as a normal shirt, was WAY too short. I don't know what they were thinking with ...the length of this.
