Y'all.. this bag is SMALL! Yes, I know I could have gotten out a measuring stick before purchasing this... but it is tiny. I was not expecting a huge pool bag tote, but I thought I could maybe throw in a small towel, book, and sunscreen and head to the pool for the night. However, it will be too ...small. The bag cannot go over your shoulder... or at least mine.. the straps are too short. With all that said the bag is adorable. If you want to take for a night out it will be perfect but you will have to carry it with your hands. You will still get a lot of compliments on it cause it is very cute.
The small size of this bag is almost comical. I definitely thought I was ordering a smaller tote bag for the beach, thinking it could hold at least a couple water bottles, sunglasses, book. This bag might hold one water bottle. The straps can only go up to one's elbows (not up to the shoulder). I'm ...super bummed, because I love the sailboat design and the quality is good.
