I have owned various versions of ON's High-Waisted side-pocket 7/8 leggings in multiple colors from the past several years and love that these aren't the shiny spandex athletic version of so many others -- however, these leggings are not even close to what they used to be. I purchased two pair each ...in both black and navy in the same size I've always bought and had I not worn a pair of the black, all 4 would be going back. First they changed the waistband -- OLD NAVY, where is the wide waist band you used to have on the high-waist leggings? It was replaced by a horrible narrow, very uncomfortable waistband that is loose on the top edge, but way too tight on the bottom edge, which causes the top1" to keep rolling over. Plus, IMHO, they're not nearly as high-waisted as they used to be and I'm petite, so I can't imagine what they're like on average height women. As well, the fabric is much thinner and cheaper feeling than before, though it just barely passes the see-through test. And lastly, the pockets -- these are a game changer for most leggings, but not on this version! They've shortened the pocket length so now when I sit down, my phone slides right out (almost lost it in the toilet the other day). Come on ON, you know phones are bigger these days -- why did you change this??? Overall, so, so, so disappointed in these leggings and sad to say I'm on the hunt for new ones. Please bring back the old thick band, high-waisted, deep pocket leggings in the non-shiny cotton / spandex material!
