Super cute - a bit short for me (I am 5"4 and age52) but still very flattering ! Ordered a small.
This dress is adorable. I bought the floral yellow and it does not disappoint. I sized down to a Large Petite and it hits above the knee. Has two hip hidden pockets with a linen/cotton fabric content. Sizing down, I do not need to have the non adjustable straps shortened. This dress defines the waist and bust line and gives the hips a flirty flare as it drapes/swings to an a line of flair style. I did buy the navy gingham but the large is a bit too tight in the bust. It's a straight cotton fabric content and does not offer much stretch on the back smocking. So, returning the navy gingham. You will love this dress!

My daughter has Down syndrome and has a larger stomach in proportion to the rest of her body. This dress is SO flattering on her. I got her a size medium in 4 different colors and she loves it. The fit looks great and doens't make her stomach stand out, rather it makes her look curvy :) I had her pair it with a little sweater.
