I bought last year's version of these and they are my favorite pants. I've gotten compliments from complete strangers when I style them like 40s trousers. Last year they were a shirt-weight chambray, these are more of a lightweight pants denim. The elastic in the adjustable waistband feels sturdier ...this year, but since the fabric is thicker, it can't cinch the waist as well. I returned the 10 I ordered and bought an 8 and that laid nicer. That's not to say you should size down. I probably should've bought an 8 last year too, but with the lighter fabric, I could cinch the waist down and have that much more dramatic of a waist to hip ratio. I'm a little disappointed that they switched to button closures instead of hook-and-bar closures but that's fine. They're great jeans, just slightly less nice than last year.
Although I love the color and texture of these pants, the sizing is super wonky. For reference I am normally a 4 in other brands, and lean Tall fit at 5'9", however old Navy sizing seems to run super big and super tall for Tall fit. But the regular runs super short on me (sigh). I really wanted t...o love these. The 2 tall is far too large and long for me, and While the 0fit would have worked — the regular is too short and they don't offer a zero in a tall. Please make these in a zero tall - I would love to give them a try! but the tall fit is way too tall, the regular fit is way too short, and the 2 is too large

Great fabric weight and shape. LOVE the adjustable waist, also the 100% cotton. The Ecru and Denim do NOT fit the same. Not the first time this has happens within a style with different color runs. Purchased online and finessed in store. I'm 5'6 weight ranges between 117-130 (winter weight) I ended up with a 6R in the Ecru and a 8R in the denim. How the front pleat laid was my deciding factor. Great Pants. Especially if you like the Taylor range. I'd suggest pairing with the matching Boyfriend shirt in the appropriate size for a nice polished look. I wear it as a shirt jacket . I am a stylish, mature Lady

Sooo cute! Can be dressed up or down. The adjustable waistband is amazing. I'm 5'8 150 and bought a 6 and the length / fit is perfect. I'm typically a 6 in regular jeans as well. They feel like a lighter Jean and are super flattering. I purchased the white and I do feel there's a potential for them to be see through with certain color underwear so I'm just going to stick to tan when I wear these to be safe! Also saw they're mostly cotton so I'll be air drying as I do most of my old navy items.
