I'm usually a 8 or 10. Purchased 10 to be on the baggy side. Super baggy! Just too big. Think the 8 will be large also. Baggy in hips and rear. Too baggy that not flattering at all. I would suggest sizing down 1 full size. Just my opinion.
These shorts are hideous. They are not jean shorts, they are stretchy, thin, denim-colored short. They run huge! I am 5'9" 170lbs and purchased an 8. I could nearly pull them off without unbuttoning them. The rise is horrible too! What happened to MID rise? These give you a weird belly, even if you ...have NO belly. Colors are awful as well. Disappointed.

I have lost quite a bit of weight and my shorts that I did have would now be too big. I just wanted to look and see what there was while at The Greene with my daughter and guessed on size because the line for the dressing rooms was long. I was very excited to see they fit and were long enough but not too long. I now won't have extra large things to wear this summer.
