I'm a large belly, narrow hips, flat-ish booty body shape and these jeans are amazing on me!!! (If I do say so myself.) Yes, they are hecka wide leg, which is exactly what I was looking for...more like a culotte than a denim short/crop/bermuda. There is not much stretch at all, so I did have to si...ze up to a 22, but I'm so pleased that they still look good on my bum!!! I think the wide leg cut makes the oversizing in my hips look intentional and really flatters my prominent belly and minimal boo-tay. Cannot recommend (at least trying) them enough!! For the peeps who already have a big bum: size up! I originally bought the 24 because I wanted them loose in the waist, but I did not have the hips and derriere to fill them out, so I had to go with the size 22. The waistband was slightly snugger than I wanted it to be, but one drive to work and it has loosened up perfectly.
This is insane! I'm a true 6 in Old Navy and those literally fell off me- had to return and reorder a 4 and those are huge too!!!! Grrr so frustrating since I I got them on a sale/promo and now they are not- were not in any local store for me to exchange or try on either. They would be so cute if yo...u could trust the sizing!

Super cute. Very roomy. Ordered a sz 6 and 4 returned the 6 as they were super big (fits like a 8/10) had to take the sz 4 in to the tailor to have the back taken in. I love how they look just wish they were true to size. I'm a true size 6 and I've never worn a 4 in my life

Nice mid weight denim culotte. They are loose fitting so if you're between sizes I recommend getting your smaller size. I'm usually a 10 or 12, purchased the 12 tall (5'8") and they are too relaxed/loose and longer on me than shown in the picture. Went back and purchased the 10 regular and awaiting those. Unless the 10 simply don't fit I plan to keep both.
