My curvy daughter tried all of the wide leg styles , she wanted something that sat on her hips so the high rise styles were eliminated. This style fit great through the hips, but she had to go down from a 6 to a 2 for the waist to fit without a huge gap in the back. A curvy size would have helloed. ...Wondering if these jeans will stretch out and look sloppy after wearing a full day? It's too hot to try now so these are going off to college with her in the medium blue and black. Old Navy, make more soft, wide leg jeans with microscope lower waist and with zipper instead of buttons!
I bought this in the dark blue wash in a 2 and a 4. I'm usually a 6 or a 4 in jeans, but since these are baggy style I went down a size. They are absolutely gargantuan. I tried on the size 2 first and I could probably pull them off without unbuttoning them. They're labeled a size 2 but fit more like... a 12 or so I'm guessing? Literally multiple sizes too large. The 4 looked so big in the bag that I didn't bother trying them on. For reference, I can wear a 2 or a 4 in the Extra High Rise Wide Leg jeans, with the 2 fitting better. Aside from fit, the wash and the denim weight seemed really nice. The top button was VERY hard to unbutton as it seemed the button hole was almost too small. I gave them a couple stars for quality and potential, but the sizing is beyond off.

Great color, nice thick material, wide leg but not too wide. Petite length is perfect for me and I'm 5'3. The front pockets can actually fit a phone or wallet in them. My only complaint is that they have buttons rather than a zipper closure which is seriously a pain. They do run a bit big compared to my other Old Navy jeans.

I really like these jeans! They are super well constructed and made from heavy weight denim. They do run large. I sized down one size but probably could have gone down two sizes. The waist is fairly straight and gaps somewhat in the back. But I do like the way they look and fit nonetheless.

Great jeans the only issue is the sizing I had to return them to go down a size. Having said that the return and reordering was so very easy.
