My curvy daughter tried all of the wide leg styles , she wanted something that sat on her hips so the high rise styles were eliminated. This style fit great through the hips, but she had to go down from a 6 to a 2 for the waist to fit without a huge gap in the back. A curvy size would have helloed. ...Wondering if these jeans will stretch out and look sloppy after wearing a full day? It's too hot to try now so these are going off to college with her in the medium blue and black. Old Navy, make more soft, wide leg jeans with microscope lower waist and with zipper instead of buttons!
I bought this in the dark blue wash in a 2 and a 4. I'm usually a 6 or a 4 in jeans, but since these are baggy style I went down a size. They are absolutely gargantuan. I tried on the size 2 first and I could probably pull them off without unbuttoning them. They're labeled a size 2 but fit more like... a 12 or so I'm guessing? Literally multiple sizes too large. The 4 looked so big in the bag that I didn't bother trying them on. For reference, I can wear a 2 or a 4 in the Extra High Rise Wide Leg jeans, with the 2 fitting better. Aside from fit, the wash and the denim weight seemed really nice. The top button was VERY hard to unbutton as it seemed the button hole was almost too small. I gave them a couple stars for quality and potential, but the sizing is beyond off.

These jeans are the best! I'm 5'3" with short legs and most baggy jeans swamp me, but these are just baggy enough, super flattering, and actually make my legs look longer! Run slightly big so I always go down one size but otherwise they're so easy! Please never stop stocking these!

They do run a little big in the waist, so keep that in mind when ordering, but are slouchy and comfortable just like I wanted.

Since these are low rise I would have thought that these would be well fitting and maybe a little snug in the waist area since low rise tends to be more about the hips, but these run big in both the waist AND hip area. Other than that, the wide leg is wide but not too wide and are overall a great pair of jeans. Unfortunately, a size smaller (6) is no longer her available. I am 5'7.5" tall and weight 141 lbs for reference.
