5'6"/116lb/purchased size 2 These are my absolute favorite jeans. EVER. The rise is perfect, no digging in, no muffin top. It create the illusion of such a long leg line; even if I do a wide cuff at the bottom, which is usually a visual leg-shortener. The wide leg is ultra flattering and gives bot...h a modern vibe and a 70's Farrah Fawcett vibe at the same time, making these versatile in styling. I've paired them with long jackets, short jackets, sweaters and t's, crisp white button up, tank tops, I've even worn a dress over them-these look great with everything I own. There's just enough stretch in these to be comfortable and they do not sag-bag out by the end of the of the day. Thunderous applause for this. I purchased both the light wash and classic dark wash, plus a petite pair for an uncuffed hem to wear with sandals and flats. I'm well-stocked against the inevitable return of the low rise skinnies! I'll be over here in 70's high- waist, wide-leg retro glory! #sweepstakes
Following the inconsistent sizing options every time I purchase clothing from Old Navy has been a disaster over the years of either swimming in them or too small. Most recently these jeans; needing tall pants and only able to obtain them online (I'm 5' 11 ½"), I ordered the size my measurements matc...hed and then a size higher and lower to have options. The smallest was way too big for me. So I returned them to the store and tried on the smaller sizes in the regulars at the store. The only one left online in tall was a washed look (ordered dark blue originally) and when it arrived, it was too small AND the pants legs were uneven so it was not even an option to keep. By then they were all sold out so couldn't get the style I want. It's ridiculous that Old Navy offers tall pants but never makes enough. They sell out first and all that's left are regular and petite. Shouldn't that be a sign that the demand is there so make more of the tall ones please. Tall folks cannot add material. But too long CAN be hemmed. America is the only country who synonymizes height and width in clothing. Tall and thin people are out there and we need things that fit us including narrow calf boots...another story. Please fix your sizing to match the actual clothing measurements and PLEASE make more tall pants available, from jeans to pajamas. Tall women should not have to look ridiculous in pants too short or go to Sweden, Holland or Germany to buy the right fit.

I tried these on in-store since sizing at Old Navy can vary, and the black pair instantly sold me. They're super comfortable and have a really flattering flare that balances out my shape. The black wash looks clean and can easily be dressed up or down. I could fit into a 10 but sized up to allow for any shrinkage after washing. Definitely one of my favorite pairs.

I usually struggle to find a dark wash that looks polished without feeling stiff, but these are perfect. I tried them on in-store because sizing can vary, and they fit great. The flare is really flattering and gives a nice balanced silhouette. I sized up from a 10 just to be safe with washing and drying. Super comfortable and easy to dress up a little more than a casual jean.
