I am a petite L or XL in most of the Old Navy tops. In this jacket I opted to get the regular size instead of the petite. I am 69, 5 feet tall, 170 lbs and I have a thick waistline. I wear a 16 P in the jeans or 16 regular depending on the length of the pant. I ordered the pants in a 18P because... there is no stretch in them. They are not hard, but comfy. In the jacket I purchased the large because it comes down over my stomach and rests at my middle hip area and it look better on me than the crop length. If I did not have a belly, I would have ordered it in a petite length. This is just my preference, but I'm sure the majority of people will love this jacket. I bought the pin stripe look in both pieces.
This jacket was cut but the sleeves were much too short. Going to return.
