I bought the colorful tropical flower pattern and I'm glad I did. I bought the shorts-only of some of the lighter colors and they are VERY see-through. It's no problem when you're sleeping, but if you need a pajama set to wear around the house or you're vacationing with other people, go for the dark...er colors. I could fit into the XL but I like to have my sleeping clothes roomier in case it's very hot, so I went with the 2XL. They fit fine with an elastic waistband and did not fall down or need to be hiked up. Be aware: I'm 5'4, and these shorts are SHORT. You can definitely mix them with a different tank top or t-shirt for sleeping or around the house, but these aren't shorts you can wear to the store or pop outside to do something, although if you wanted to, you could use them to wear over a bathing suit with a different t-shirt at the beach or the pool. The outfit didn't shrink when I put it in the washing machine and they dryer. Think about where you plan to wear this and if you like wearing shorter shorts before you buy. Otherwise it's great! J.
