I'm a 140-pound, 5'5" cisgender female with a semi-muscular build, short torso, wide rib cage, 36-38" usual bra band size. I'm usually a Medium or Small in Old Navy tops. I've been looking for a short or slightly-cropped sleeveless "muscle tee" to wear over a sports bra and with my yoga leggings dur...ing heated yin yoga and during Lagree. After looking at the reviews and stock photos, I decided to try the Small (Regular) in Warm Taupe. The length was a tad longer than I was hoping for (but do-able) but the arm holes were super gaping. I ordered an XS (Regular) next to see if that would work, and it did--the arm holes looked fine over my sports bra, and the length was exactly what I was looking for (I guess about belly button height).

I recently bought a seamless athletic top from ON in a size Large. It was super cute right when I put it on...except it was so tight and rolled up a minute later. I do have an apple-shaped body with a belly, so I thought something looser would be better. Sadly this top goes wayyy in the other direct...ion. The armholes are huge. Not just in how low down they go, but there's also a lot of material that puckers out towards the front. This isn't a good look for anyone, but coupled with the high heck it definitely doesn't work if you have a large chest. Also kind of bothered that I didn't notice this, but on the stunning purple color they pair the top with a purple sports bra on the model. If you only catch that image it looks like the holes aren't that low. I'm not sure how to explain this, but the top also didn't seem well-designed in terms of sizing. Obviously it's a flowy top, but I felt I was swimming in it and like it should be a larger size. And I know this isn't the case with some ON tops I got years ago.

Love Old Navy's active line. I wear everything, joggers, leggings and tops. They really keep you cool while working out and dry very fast! They wash great without any fading or wear. This shirt is a great color and sits a little shorter than others but still very flattering and not TOO short.

This is one of my favorite work out tops! It's light and airy but covers that pesky underarm bulge and isn't too long or too short. It tucks easily too. I wish they made more colors. Looks good with shorts or leggings too and I'm very picky about length wearing leggings. It looks perfect!

ON gets it right with the CloudMotion line of activewear. Perfect fit, washes and dries well. I have many t's and leggings for yoga from this line. You won't be disappointed. I do size up in the tops because I like extra room for a comfortable workout. I am petite, my normal size in most ON clothes is either a PS or PM. In athletic tops I order a PL for the room.
