I first bought this tunic in Volcanic Glass and loved it. The fabric weight felt right, the acid wash gave it a great faded look, and the Tall M (I'm 5'5", 165 lbs) fully covered my backside-perfect for outdoor running in spring, early/late summer, and fall. After developing health issues post-Covid..., I had to start running outdoors, and this shirt honestly made that possible for me. It gave me the coverage and confidence I needed. Because I liked it so much, I began ordering new colors over the past year. Unfortunately, the quality and fit are inconsistent. Length varies by color, some neck ribs are bulky or narrow, and fabric quality differs significantly. Examples: -Light Aqua (Tall): much shorter, barely covered my backside. -Lilac Mist: good length but very thin/see-through and started tearing after two washes. -Driftwood: bulky, tight neck rib-uncomfortable for running or everyday wear. -Light House: beautiful blue, better neckline, but fabric developed holes after washing. -Madder Root: great wash like Volcanic Glass, but very tight/bulky neckline. The only colors that felt consistent in fabric, length, and neckline were Volcanic Glass, Dried Herb, and Golden Straw (but I had to iron the neck rib a few times on Golden Straw to reduce the rib bulk). I truly love this style and see so much potential in it. I just wish quality control were consistent across all colors. Using the same fabric and neckline construction would make this an absolute staple. I've never been this loyal to one shirt style, and I genuinely hope to keep buying more-if the consistency improves.
