I bought these in black & blue and they are sooooo comfortable ! Although they say ankle I bought Tall size and it comes below my ankles. For reference I'm 5'8" tall; size is perfect ! These are very soft, velour not velvet so no shine to them. Definitely a bit added warmth over regular legging...s but not bulky like the fleece ones. I'm checking to see if they have the other colors in stock to buy them also.
I bought three pairs of velvet leggings from Old Navy about 5 years ago. They were softer on the inside, were long enough to hit the ankle (I'm 5'5), and the material had more give. These new ones have a material on the inside that feels more plastic-y, they hit about 5 inches above my ankle, and ...they feel constricting around my hips in a most uncomfortable way. I bought these only because my old ones are finally falling apart and I was obsessed with them. They really changed these for the worst.
