I honestly can't believe I'm writing this, but this top is perfect for me. I haven't shopped at Old Navy in probably 10 years, then saw this cotton crew-neck tee in XS and that it was also in PETITE (I had no idea Old Navy even sold petite sizes), and I'm SO HAPPY by how well it fits. It's a fitted,... snug style that is actually true to size. I usually have to size down to XXS everywhere else and even then things are often too wide, boxy, or awkwardly cut. This exact style (slim fit with a v-neck) looks so good on petites. Actually crafted and designed for petites unlike other stores that carry the same cuts for everyone. This, somehow, fits exactly the way clothes should. Like how they used to fit. The length is right, the proportions make sense, and it actually follows my body instead of hanging off of it. The light grey color also surprised me. I was worried the other shades would be too bold, and this was the only warm enough neutral that goes good next to my olive skin tone and is easy to wear. What really sealed it for me is the fabric. In a world where everything is synthetic, plasticky, or paper-thin, this being cotton feels like such a rare gem. The quality is honestly very solid, especially for the price. I've spent hundreds (if not thousands) trying to find good staple tops from "nicer" brands only for them to fail the sizing, and this one simple Old Navy tee made me feel like I finally found a winner the second I tried it on instead of frustration. I really hope they keep making this exact cut and style. If they do, I would absolutely start shopping here more often. PLEASE bring back more fitted slim fits again. V-necks too. In more neutral colors! THANK YOU.

I knew this was a cropped fit going in. However, I wasn't prepared to lose several inches of length after washing. (Cold water wash, tumble dry low, in accordance with the washing instructions on the label). I know cotton shrinks and thought I was prepared for it. I ordered size large. It barely t...ouches the waistband of my high waisted pants now, and rides up with any movement. I'm only 5'3" and short in the torso. Can't imagine how unwearable this would be for anyone taller. There was also visible discrepancy in the size between colors. I ordered black and gray, both size large, and the gray one was smaller from the start. I honestly wish this brand wasn't so violently opposed to anything other than crops. The (lack of) length makes them borderline from the start. It's even worse when you lose an entire size worth of length after one washing.

oldnavy.gapcanada.caI'm short and the Petite size (one of my favourite things about Old Navy since I'm not tall at all!) fits perfectly, no tucking in required but long enough to sit just right, material is not flimsy, the ribbing dresses it up a bit. I'm small to medium so Medium was perfect, knowing this is called 'Snug' for a reason. Great value for the money!

My daughter likes the crewneck in these ribbed tops and states they are not cropped. She thought I should try Since I was looking for a shorter top, but not cropped something that covers the midsection and could still wear a midrise pant without showing any skin . They are a very fitted style so I did go up in size to a medium. Old Navy's Lux blend fabric I wear an extra small but any cotton tees I prefer a small for shrinkage and looser fit. I did also try this in a medium tall, afraid it was gonna be cropped, but that was too long and I ended up returning those, a medium regular works perfect. (5'4.5",130,34c)

I purchased this top in the regular crewneck style for my daughter who recommended to me if I was looking for a more fitted look because it really is not cropped. The ribbed fabric also makes it flattering and can hide imperfections if needed. due to the fitted style, I did go up a size from my normal small to a medium, which actually in the blend fabrics would be two sizes up for Old Navy tops. I did also order in a medium tall because I was concerned with it being cropped however, the regular medium was OK without the tall, which ended up being too long which I was trying to avoid as well. I can wear this with a midrise pant, and it still covers the waistband by couple inches enough without exposing midsection. It also gives a fitted look without it being tight. I usually do prefer a V-neck over a crewneck on myself, so I have now ordered three of the V-neck and have two of the crewneck. The v is not too deep. Have White, navy, green, and just ordered black in the V-neck as well. Wish it came in more colors, especially tans or browns. (5'4.5",130,34c)
