I just received this dress today, and it fits perfectly! I'm currently in my third trimester and almost ordered the maternity version, but I decided to go with the regular women's sizing so I could wear it postpartum as well. I chose a size M in the "tall" option (I'm usually between M/L), and I'm s...o glad I did. A L would've been too big in the bust, and the shoulders likely would have slipped down. The "tall" length adds just the right amount of extra coverage for my long legs while still keeping it in that flattering midi range. It also accommodates the baby bump beautifully. The fabric doesn't have a liner, so it's a bit on the thinner side, but it works perfectly with a nude slip skirt underneath. Overall, I love the fit and comfort…just wish there were more color options, because I'd definitely buy more!
I like the cut of this dress and felt cute wearing it till I got home and realized how highly see through the skirt is. Omg. Couldn't tell while getting ready but realized when I got home and had some sunlight coming through my windows. The skirt is not lined and the black fabric was thin enough tha...t it showed pretty obviously my bike shorts underneath (like you could see the undergarment, not just the silhouette.) It's pretty egregious and I definitely didn't intend to show that much… and it could've been much worse. Please be aware!! I will not be rewearing unless I get a good slip for underneath. Yikes.
