Discovering old navy extra high-rise jeans this year has changed my life! I've never before understood my pant fit needs, because frankly I just had never encountered pants with a rise high enough for my body type. I have unusually high hips and waistline, and my waist to hip ratio is large enough t...o make finding the right jeans very difficult. Old navy has changed that for me, and I'm so grateful. Having a high enough rise means my waistband isn't digging into my abdomen and causing a ton of discomfort. It creates the shape I want, and the option for the Tall size is amazing too, since my pants historically end up shrinking and being too short for me. The rockstar skinny extra high-rise jeans are amazing, and I have 5 pairs in different colors! I'm a size 4 regular usually for these, but I bought Tall in the Medium Wash and Black ones so that I could cuff them or keep extra length for warmth in the winters. My favorite of these so far are the Whiskey Blue and the Black jeans. The light wash are suuuper comfy but a have little less structural integrity than the others. I'm also a new fan of the bootcut extra high-rise jeans (size 2 Tall)!!! Thank you, Old Navy, for making clothes and outfits FUN again. It's wonderful to find jeans that feel good and fit properly for honestly the first time in my life!
I bought these exact extra high- waisted Rockstar 360° jeans a few years ago, and they were my favorite jeans ever. I wore them until they started getting too faded to look nice, and so worn that they began to get tiny rips in them. I finally decided it was time to buy new ones. Bought these which ...are supposed to be the exact ones I originally purchased, and I bought them in the black wash and also in the faded black wash. Both pairs had what I can only describe as an extra amount of fabric in the crotch and lower belly area, which formed a sort of pooch, making it look like my lower stomach pooched out. Not flattering at all. Also, both washes fit different. While both had that extra weird pooch thing going on, with the black wash pair it was was even worse than the faded black wash. I washed and dried them to see if it might help to tighten up that area but it didn't help, so I returned them. I thought I might be crazy because it didn't make sense how the EXACT same jeans I had bought years before were so different fitting this time around. But luckily I found a thread on Reddit with others also sharing stories of how the quality, size and fit of Old Navy pants has become commonly inconsistent over time. Hopefully someday they'll work on fixing this lack of consistency. It's pretty much impossible to find jeans with such a high waist fit nowadays, but I'll keep on looking elsewhere from now on.

Over the last year, I've been on a weight loss journey starting at a size 16/XL over the last year have gotten down to a size 6/M. These jeans are perfect. I bought them in a 10 an 8 now 6 & I wish I bought 2 pairs in 6 & 8. Buying jeans online can be difficult. I have a high waist & my problematic area is my tummy. I specifically came on the site typed in high waisted jeans chose skinny fit and I loved the look & fit! They are not lying. I wear these jeans all the time in the dark blue & the light wash w the raw hem they're comfortable when I put them on throughout the entire day super flattering! If you're looking for something to hold you in a bit these do the trick! I do prefer the dark wash w the hem I'm 5'9" the raw hem is still great but fits more like an ankle Capri, which is great w spring being here! I hope these never run out of stock!! 100% Perfection! I absolutely love them and they hold their shape all day!

I love the feel of these jeans and the pocket depth is very generous. However, I hate that the black wash doesn't come with a hem, like some of the blue washes do. After I washed the jeans for the first time, I had threads hanging off just waiting for me to catch my foot in. I had to hem them myself. These jeans also smell strongly of chemicals (likely the dye) that didn't come out after washing.
