The biggest negative is the construction and material of the pockets. The pockets aren't tacked in place; they flop around. But worse, they are a different material than the rest of the shorts. They feel like mesh—like the pockets in swim trunks that are designed to drain water. I keep thinking my k...eys are going to snag or rip a hole in them. Agree with other reviews: the outside of the shorts is a super smooth fabric and feels nice to the touch. The reverse side, the side against your skin, is less smooth. Also, the drawstring is loose inside that tall waistband. The drawstring was already folded over when I opened the package. Overall: if you don't have sensitive skin and don't notice things like your pockets jiggling around when you move then these are probably good shorts for you. If the feel against your skin is a priority then maybe steer clear.
